‘Guess My Age’ renewed in France and Slovakia, commissioned in Austria and Hungary

C8, France’s 4th network on 18-49, has commissioned 16 additional episodes of GUESS MY AGE, Vivendi Entertainment’ studio gameshow, bringing the total number of episodes to 76. The show created by Vivendi Entertainment in association with Tooco, is produced by Vivendi-owned Flab Prod.

Airing every Sunday in access primetime, the 40-episode season 2 is currently performing very strongly for the network, improving the slot’s average by +60% on 4+, but also +42% on 25-49 and +71% on 15-34. GUESS MY AGE delivers the best performance on C8 in the slot since 2013.

Vivendi Entertainment also confirms that the format, has also been renewed in Slovakia and Czech Republic by commercial network TV JOJ. Considering Series 1 of a mix of 115 daily and primetime episodes as very successful, the broadcaster has commissioned an 80-episode season 2.

On top of these renewals, the show continues to conquer new territories with ProsiebenSat.1’s PULS 4 launching the format successfully in Austria this February in primetime. The show is recording impressive ratings, with a 5% share on 12-49 (+19% vs slot average), last week’s episode reaching a new high with an outstanding 6,7% share (+60% vs slot average).

In Hungary, TV2 is currently producing a 25-episode celebrity series due to be aired as a daily in the coming months.

Negotiations are underway with several major broadcasters in Europe, America and Asia. Commissions could be announced in the next few weeks.

This comes in addition to the 15-territory option by BANIJAY which gave fruit to a 15-episode series on DAS ERSTE and pilots for MEDIASET.
