TTV TAKES ON THE ICONIC FORMAT “LET’S MAKE A DEAL” FOR A NEW POLISH ADAPTATION

Warner Bros Discovery/TVN Poland-owned TTV’s fall schedule will feature the return in Poland of iconic game show “Idź na całość!” (meaning ‘Go for it’) based on “Let’s Make a Deal” format from Glass Entertainment Group.

Adapted in 25 countries, “Let’s Make a Deal” is the only format that has aired on all 4 American networks (NBC, ABC, Fox and CBS) since its inception in 1963. It was already adapted with great success in Poland from 1997 to 2001 (306 episodes in total).

What is the show about?

“Idź na całość!” is the ultimate game of chance, charm, and calculated risk – a pulse-pounding format that keeps audiences locked in and playing along from start to finish. It is a cascade of high-energy games, each built around one burning question: do you play it safe… or go for more?

Each episode consists of several “deals” between the host and the contestants who must decide, in the moment, whether to keep playing, take or refuse the deal to gamble on the unknown. The tension builds with every choice, creating explosive moments of joy, heartbreak, and pure exhilaration.

From guessing challenges to interactive audience showdowns, the pace never lets up. It’s a rollercoaster of emotion where fortunes can flip in an instant.

The show ends with the final Big Deal, which gives a chance for a much bigger prize. One of the participants taking part in the game on a given day has the opportunity to exchange everything they have won up to that point for more mystery prizes. Will the participants win the main prize or leave empty-handed?

The U.S. version remains one of the country’s highest-rated game shows. It has aired daily on CBS since 2009, recently surpassing the 3,000-episode mark, with Emmy-winning host Wayne Brady at the helm. The show also enjoys great success in primetime.

In France, the format was recently renewed after its triumphant return on RMC Story. The premiere broke records, becoming the highest-rated entertainment show ever on a DTT channel and topping the ratings among viewers aged 25-49. It will continue airing every Friday night from September to June.
